Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs who arranged a running competition.
The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.
A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants.
The race began...

Honestly, no one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower.

You heard statements such as:

"Oh, WAY too difficult!!"

"They will NEVER make it to the top."

"Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!"

The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one...

Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher...

The crowd continued to yell, "It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!"

More tiny frogs got tired and gave up....

But ONE continued higher and higher and higher....

This one wouldn't give up!

At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower.

Except for the one tiny frog that, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top!

THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it?

A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal?

It turned out...

That the winner was DEAF!!!

The moral of this story is:

Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic...

Because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you
-- The ones you have in your heart!

Always think of the power words.

Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions!

Therefore: ALWAYS stay POSITIVE!

And above all, be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams!

Always think, "I CAN DO THIS!"

Jerry is the manager of a restaurant in America. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would always reply, "If I were any better, Iwould be twins!" as you know, we are facing with much downfall lately.
the quitters stuffs.
3 potiential players left us just like that and we thought our hope and aim of getting into the second round was dashed. well, that might be selfish of them or whatsoever, but dont ever let the netball spirit leave, alright.

we might be lucky, you can say. we managed to pull ex netballers back to the team, so let work together as a team again, to create a new hope.
let the past remain in our heart and work harder than before.

dear fellow netballers(esp. sec 1s),
I'm really really disappointed with the way some of you think. SO IMMATURE. Just because you werent put on court during some practices or even matches doesnt mean you not impt to your teammates, useless or etc. After putting up with so many tough trainings (actually not much though) together, some of you even dare have the thinking of leaving YOUR team behind just because you feel that your fellow teammates dun need you or etc. Please think on the general instead of small issues like these at least spare a thought for people around you, your teammates. you all are already in secondary school. That's pretty selfish of you if you dun put yourself in other people's shoes before making that kind of decision. For all you may know, you may be crushing that very beliefs of your teammates. Have you ever thought that you might just be what your team needs at that extremely crucial point of time? Probably not, i guess. if not you won't even have that kind of decision made in your head. IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS YOU DO BUT NOT TAKE NOTE OF THAT MAKES AN IMPACT ON ALL OUR LIVES. It's very saddening to see the present situation like that. I'm sure everybody feels the same way. Why cant we all work together, put all differences behind, afterall we all have a common goal to reach. Sure, most of all us have been put down by people, im sure no one likes the feeling of being put down. But have you ever think that why they're able to pass this kind of sarcastic remarks on us? It's because we allow them to. Why cant we, once and for all prove them wrong, and not let them have a chance to pass negative remarks bout us? It's funny why some people can take this opportunity to be motivated, but some do not. Maybe that's the reason why God created us differently, each having their own unique way of thinking. People, take this chance to reflect on yourself. I believe you all too, have a goal to reach, think about how you can work on it. Just having a goal won't allow you to reach that goal, unless you do somthing about it. Every small thing you do counts. Lastly, Good Luck for your Finals !

heyys. i noe this is suppose ta be some kinda fun netball blog thinggy. but just a few pointers yea?

i personally feel that netball is really all about teamwork, perseverence, hardwork determination and discipline.
you guys constantly claim about how you all love netball. i can see that you all really do. but man, when it comes down to serious business, you guys' attitude towards the training really just stink.
reflect not only on your skills, but on your communication skills with the team.
nicole was telling me just after tdy's training that you guys learn fast, and that with more training, you all may improve.
however, i dun see the point in doing so until you guys can treat each training seriously, do each drill correctly and properly.
wake up larhs. tournament is just round the corner. LATE JAN LEHS!

the reflections about today's game.

THE GAME
we didn played well in today's game.
although its 3 against 7 but we didnt make it seems as
though the game was at our own team's advantage.
all of us wasnt throwing the proper passes
we have to continue to improve our passes till its perfect.
besides throwing lobes we should use other passes like
straight fast shoulder pass,bounce pass and the others.
we did not sprint out to get the balls tat were thrown to us
all we did was to wait there for the ball to come and the ball
can be intercepted becos the longer the time the ball takes to travel to ur teammates hand
there will be more time for the opposing team to intercept the ball.
there is too much stepping.
during the game there must not be any stepping.
also dont bounce the ball.
there's also too much crowding.
there shld be no crowding as
the ball cant be pass down if all of you are all at the same place and
it will take lots of time to bring the ball down.
we should call out for our team members and not play a silent game.
shld apply the skills tat we have learn during the drills.
must coordinate with our partners.
some of the attackers shld not stand behind the defenders.
attackers mus always be infront of defenders so tat the ball cant be intercepted.
must always grab the ball tight and dont drop the balls.
TRAINING
i find that it is better if we use the menicine balls to do our passes before
using the net balls becos after using the menicine balls
our passes become stronger and faster.
the drills lyk the one to run 45 degree out turn inwards and out wards
and the one which u need to turn inwards and run straight and turn
shld be practice in other trainings becos its is use to help
to bring down the centre pass sucessfully
sum other drills lyk the one to run parallel and land on
the outer leg then inner leg was used to help to save time
when u want to pass to ur team member.
i think splitting into different position is good.
u can concentrate on the drills tat is meant for ur position and also
we can be taught one by one.
after the splitting ,the defenders will defend the shooters
i think tat this can let us practice wat we have learn during the splitting
and let us know the use of the skills learn in the drills during a game.
TEAMMATES
daph-i need to be cautious bout whether i am sticking near to my attacker
also,i shld not keep running here and there jus to try to get the ball and
not defending my attacker.i shld try to move back
when the opponent teammates passes a lobe to
my attacker.i must always keep be looking at where the ball is.
dorcas-she shld avoid having obstruction
when defending sumone who is shooting and also guard the GA and find a gd
position to get the rebound when the GS is shooting.look carefully before passing
the ball to the teammates.
hui ping-she has too much of stepping and this wil cos us to lose the ball
to the opponent team.constantly using bounce pass which sumtimes can be
intercepted easily
but bounce pass can also be used at times but not frequently.
regina-she needs to communicate better with her 'partner'
and also make
full use of her height to guard dead her opponent.
yen hui-she tends to hide behind the defender sumtimes and also
as a shooter she shld try to stand within the semi-d.
lay kheng-shld hold the ball tightly and also run out faster.cut in more
infront of the defender so that her ball wont be
intercepted easily.go out for every ball.
yi mei-needs to catch the ball.lots of footwork.shld pass the ball
when the teammates is free and not passing
the ball to anybody near her.
michelle-she needs to work on her communication skills
wif her teammates on court.
but there's an improve in her footwork.also watch where she's throwing .

oh gosh finally!!!
i took a long time to put all the names of the netballers there.
and to put them in a alphabetical order and
also finding out the links of their blog.
but anyway i have done it.
sorry i took the whole of ytd to look for a gd blogskin.
but this is the best i could findd.

today training was damn tiring for ME.
my stamina has gone down mann.
last time 3 rds was ok.
but now.
sighh.
and i vomitted.
i shldnt eat too much.
lols.but all they did was for the team and our own good.
